• Becki will introduce the materials you’ll be working with and will begin with talking about colour palettes before working through mixing colours to create your own collection of colour palettes to work with through the session.

• Becki will then show how simple brush strokes can make up botanical motifs

• You will work through some simple motif shapes with encouragement to explore how shapes can make your own florals and foliage

• You will also explore paint washes and working with ink to create simple botanical illustrations. Becki will be on hand with lots of tips and guidance as you work through the guide sheets and you should start to feel more confident with the brush and developing your own painting style. 

• You will work towards creating your own floral painting to take home

• This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and you will be able to take home your guide sheets so you can continue to practice
